Liberty Acres Campground & RV Park, is located on 60 beautiful acres of Horses and Exotic Animals in Liberty, North Carolina in Alamance County. Close to Siler City, Asheboro, Pittsboro, Greensboro, Burlington and Chapel Hill, NC. Camp next to a pasture of Llamas, overlooking a pond with Geese, Black Swans & Capybara. Stroll the pastoral zoo which features Zebras, Kangaroos, Foxes, Servals, Sloths, Lemurs, Kinkajous, Monkeys, Alpacas, Zebus, and many more.
The Campground & RV Sites are in a gated area with spacious lots with gravel pads, full hook-ups with water, 20 amp, 30 amp and 50 amp electrical service, septic hookup at each site, and a conveniently located central dump station and dumpster. Firewood is available at the sites as well as picnic tables and fire pits.

We celebrated my mom’s 85th birthday here and had a fantastic time. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful when making arrangements or more kind the day of our event. Capybara encounter was great and so was visiting with the other animals. Thank you, Liberty Acres!

Such a unique and beautiful experience for a different than usual birthday outing. Adult kids loved feeding the animals. A wallaby with her baby poking out of the pouch so close to the fence you can watch the whole mama/baby dynamic? Emu eating out of a cup of feed while they stare you down? Golden pheasants running across your path? Why didn't we discover this haven long ago?

This was truly the most incredible experience. We loved getting to meet the capybaras and seeing so many other animals. Would highly recommend this to anyone that loves animals. The animals were all very sweet and docile. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. The gift shop had really cute items too!
